QSHE Manager to Omya - Sweden

Therefore we are looking for a person, meticulous by nature, who will take on the task to further develop and monitor all QSHE related topics at our Swedish productions sites and Malmö office.
The responsibilities and tasks (the list is not exhaustive) entails:
- Compliance with the Omya Sustainability Policy and Omya Standards
- Compliance with (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, 50001 if necessary in the future)
- Reduction of accidents/incidents/injuries
- Reduction of environmental impact
- Improvement of quality performance
- Supporting plant managers and 1st line managers
- Contributing to steer organizational behaviour towards constant improvements
- Identify and prevent production hazards
- Warranty of Crisis Management systematic
We are looking for a person with minimum 5 years experience from production/industry/mining, who is either acquainted with QSHE work and wishes to excel in the field or with a solid background from above-mentioned tasks. We believe you have a technical background, university degree is not required although a merit. Sound experience in leading and executing technical projects within the field of QSHE. Knowledge and Commitment to Integrated management systems such as ISO 9001/14001/50001 & BS OSHAS 18001 and prior experience as Safety Officer.
More importantly we believe that your personal traits meet the criteria. It is fundamental that you have the ability to communicate new procedure and standards effectively and trustworthy throughout the entire organization, regardless title or position of the receiver.
You need to master both Swedish and English in order to carry out your tasks and navigate within an international organization.
The position is based out of Omya’s office in Malmö or Glanshammar, includes some travelling and you will report to Head of QSHE North Europe based in Norway.
