Head of IT-Support at Sweco
About the role
In this role you are responsible for Sweco Group IT Support. You will ensure that services are achieved within the identified budgets and that efficient processes are used to deliver a high quality service.
It is your responsibility to deliver and follow up defined SLAs to our customers as well as follow up relevant goals in Sweco IT´s business plan. As the head of IT-Support you have personnel in several European countries and have the direct responsibility for group managers in the different countries.
You need to ensure that the unit collaborates and communicates effectively with other units in Sweco's IT organization, focusing on the joint outcome. It is within your scope to staff and develop the unit with the right expertise and capacity in line with both local and global needs as well as collaborate with other managers to continuously improve and implement the IT service management processes.
In this role you report to the CIO.
- Responsibility for budget, results and personnel.
- Manage and develop the business according to Sweco’s leadership compass.
- Define the strategic direction of the Service Desk and contribute to the overall ICT strategy.
- Support, inspire and make proactive recommendations on group and country level.
- Monitor and analyze relevant country strategies and make proactive recommendations
- Establish relationships and ways of working with each country as well as on group level.
- Develop our processes within incidents and requests, and share best practice and knowledge within the group.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need significant knowledge within IT in a broad perspective and experience of leading an IT Service Desk/Support in a large organization. You need experience from working in an international environment and should be proficient in English, both written and spoken. You have a university degree within relevant area.
Your natural way of being a skilled communicator makes you a good and trusted influencer with the ability to work with people on all levels. You are energetic, positive, confident, and have the ability to establish internal as well as external relationships.
