General Manager with focus on finance, administration and operations

Responsibilities and main tasks

As General manager you will be overall responsible for production and service processes as well as for the administrative/financial processes in the company.

In summary:

  • Overall P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecast

  • Business control and reporting in close liaison with Group HQ and responsible for all financial and administrative functions.

  • Leader and coach for the management team and admin and finance staff.

  • Follow up and control of financial aspects of business.

  • Operations performance mainly within production, service and purchasing.

  • Proactive and continous control of KPI’s, investment calculations and advisor for business proposals.

  • Responsibility for Svabo Kaross & Hydraul Service AB (subsidiary) located in Kristianstad.

  • Reporting line directly to Chairman of the board, located in Germany at the same time work closely with the current CEO in the future focusing on Market & Sales.

Your capabilities
We believe that you are an experienced CFO and/or COO with a strong finance background, appreciated for being a good manager with strong analytical capabilities always doing a good job. Experience within the sector or a similar sector is an advantage. Relevant experience in for instance automotive sales / workshop, general manufacturing and working in an international environment.


  • Minimum 5years of experience in a leadership position

  • Advanced level in accounting, thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in Swedish GAAP, experience with creating and managing financial statements and month-end/year-end closing processes.

  • Manufacturing and project management experience preferred, ideally in commercial vehicle construction.

  • Experienced in heading the full Financial & Controlling function, including optimization of interfaces to sales offer, order handling and production processes

  • Strong knowledge in ERP processes in project related businesses, ERP experiences is a must, Pyramid or Navision preferred

  • University level within accounting, finance or controlling.

  • Fluent in Swedish and mastering English in writing and in speech (level B) without problems. Application documentation in English is required.
