As Hospital Account Specialist you will play an important role in the launch of a new post-operative pain product on the Swedish market. With this new product Grünenthal has the opportunity to strengthen its position on the Swedish market and expand its existing portfolio in innovative drugs for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. This product will play a key role in further establishing Grünenthal as a major player in the European hospital market.  

A proactive, sales driven approach is essential, as you are expected to identify and keep track of new upcoming business opportunities. As Hospital Account Specialist, you will meet and connect with different stakeholders in hospitals around Sweden (physicians, nurses, medical doctors, pharmacists etc.) and successfully manage networking relationships within the hospital accounts. Extensive travel within the Southern/Western parts of Sweden is required. The Hospital Account Specialist will report to Head of Hospital Business Nordic, based in Copenhagen.  

We are looking for a qualified candidate with solid know-how related to the pharma industry and a proven track record from a sales position, minimum 3-5 years of sales experience. We believe that you have an educational background from university or similar. With preference you have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with work experience from intensive care and/or surgery. We expect excellent language skills; Swedish and English. The Hospital Account Specialist is a field-based position where you will be working from a home office based either in the Malmö or the Gothenburg region.  

Since this is a pharmaceutical product that also contains a medical device, Grünenthal can offer sales professionals within pharma a possibility to expand the experience to include sales of both pharma and medical device.
