This new role´s purpose and scope are to set and execute the sales strategy for Jungheinrich Logistics Systems in Sweden. Main duties are to develop a high-performance sales culture to grow Jungheinrich revenues and market share by proactively acquiring new customer accounts, significantly expanding revenues from current base customers and leverage direct selling within the sector warehouse management systems.

As Sales Director Logistics Systems, you are responsible for budget and profit and managing the present team of four sales specialists, optimize team performance, set targets, monitor performance, provide inspirational leadership and grow the team to 10 persons within the next 4-5 years.

The Logistics systems team members are in Malmö but the role will include travelling to our customers all over Sweden. You will work close to our Sales Director Forklift trucks and After Sales Manager in Malmö and our sales offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm. You will also cooperate with our engineers and product specialists in Germany and be part of a Nordic network with colleagues from Denmark, Norway and Finland.
You can choose to work from HQ in Malmö or our sales office in Gothenburg. You will bereporting to the CEO, and serve as an active, integral member of the management team.

Main duties:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for driving overall sales revenue Logistics Systems
  • Promote and sell solutions to the Swedish market
  • Contract negotiations
  • Develop business plans and provide direction to the Logistics systems team to ensure growth and that quota objectives are over-achieved
  • Inspire, motivate and support staff
  • Ensure administrative activity forecasting, account planning, sales documentation etc.
  • Monitor the Logistics Systemsmarket, have awareness of competitor activity ensuring Jungheinrich retains market leadership and contribute to the management team

You have sales focus, negotiation, decision making and influencer skills and a pro-active working style. You can actively plan, prioritize and execute complex project activities while keeping timelines and commitments. You have previous experience from an international sales business environment and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales Management role, pref. in logistics solutions. Excellent communications skills, spoken and written Swedish and English is required. We believe you have a Bachelor or Master Degree Technical or Commercial or equivalent.
