We are looking for an Expansion Manager with strong negotiation skills and with a competitive mindset. The candidate has a strong “doer” personality that manages to deliver good results within a team, and shall be able to show a proven track record of delivery on given expansion targets. You are a curious person, and you dare to question conventional mechanisms to explore and learn new things. Constant improvement is your mindset rather than a work-method applied for certain areas.
In this position you will identify and negotiate leasing agreements to capture new retail locations, in line with the roll-out strategy and expansion plan of the company.
Your responsibilities will be to build a 3-year plan, securing a competitive pipe-line regarding locations on the selected markets as well as building an active network with relevant partners, i.e real estate owners, property developers, and real estate agencies whenever needed.
The background we are looking for comprises a degree in Business Administration or Engineering, an experience with international expansion, preferably in the retail sector. The candidate has strong negotiation skills, both in commercial and legal terms. The requested personal qualities like competitive drive, business acumen and strategic capabilities are ever so important. You are a self-motivator, taking leadership of your personal results and also influence the delivery through others, even though not directly reporting to you.
The role requires extensive travelling from time to time to the markets under responsibility.
