We are seeking an Internal Communications Manager for Xylem's Growth Center Transport, which provides a complete offering to municipal and industrial wastewater transport and treatment customers including a full range of wastewater and dewatering pumps.

The Internal Communications Manager will have the responsability of developing, implementing and executing an internal communication strategy  that will contribute to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence both inside Growth Center Transport and across the organization.

This position is part of Growth Center Transport’s global communication department and reports to Communications Director Global Transport. The position is placed at Xylem´s office in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, Sweden.

Essential duties and position responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improve Xylem´s internal communication strategy for Growth Center Transport. You will lead internal communication projects and have strategic, advisory and operational responsibility.

You will work closely with the Corporate Communications team, Human Resources and across different  business segments in the Growth Center.

The role includes: 

  • Developing, implementing and  continuously improve Transport´s internal communication strategy
  • From management perspective, be responsible for relevant forums and channels regarding communication through e.g newsletters, webinars and information meetings
  • In close collaboration with HR; develop and execute communication strategies and/or plans to address business and organizational changes
  • Internal ambassador for Transport,with the  aim to increase employee involvement and knowledge of the business and strategy
  • Continuously follow up and evaluate the effect of communication activities

Background and personal qualities
To be successful in this role we are looking for a candidate with a relevant university degree or equivalent higher education.You have several years of experience within communication and extensive knowledge from working with internal communication on a strategic and operational level. Preferably you have experience from a technology-intensive industry. Previous experience from change management, project management and employee engagement is of great importance.You have a strong ability to understand business issues or needs and translate them into strategic communications plans.

Excellent skills in English oral and written, are essential to perform this work as part of a global company. Skills in Swedish, oral and written are a strong merit.
