Outnorth is an expansive and dynamic e-commerce company holding a leading position on the Scandinavian e-market. The company expects a turnover of 420 million SEK in 2017. Outnorth is now seeking a CPO who will play a decisive role in our journey forward and in our continued success.
As CPO you will contribute to all phases of strategic purchasing, including managing and coordinating purchase initiatives and performance with both suppliers and internal functions. You need to ensure that the purchasing function (team, performance, systems and procedures) meets the needs of the business and in doing so, understands and meets the requirements and concerns of suppliers and consumers.
You will also use your senior negotiation skills at an international level to ensure that Outnorth retains and strengthens its prominent position as a strong player in the field of outdoor trade. In acting as a business partner to our largest suppliers you will ensure that Outnorth has a greater influence on our suppliers´ planning and future projects. You will select suppliers and improve their performance – reliability of supply, quality, service, costs and innovation. Organizationally you will report to the CEO, and you will have staff responsibility for three strategic buyers. The vacancy is based in Växjö.
To be successful in this role we believe that you should have had some years of high level experience on the international e-commerce/B2C market. You should have the specialist procurement knowledge, preferably within the specific area.

• You will have a minimum of 5 years in a procurement department with a strong exposure to international environments
• You will have minimum a few years of senior leadership experience
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English
• You will preferably have an Academic degree in Economics, specializing in procurement
