Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) Finance function, supports the strategic and organizational goals by providing world-class business and financial control. The main responsibilities of the Finance function are Consolidation and Reporting, Business Control and Performance Management. The location for this position is preferably Sandviken.

Job Summary
As Business Controller with ownership of Business Analysis, you work closely with your team and have close contact with the different product areas in both strategic and operational tasks. Your focus is on understanding the business, contribute with forward looking support and closely follow performance development.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Monthly analysis and comments on SMS Financial Performance

  • Coordinate Forecast and Target processes in SMS

  • Support Performance Management structure and set-up

  • Management reporting and presentations

  • Leading and participation in various projects

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance, Business Administration or other relevant field. You have good business understanding and at least three years of experience in business or financial controlling, working with and presenting to executive management teams. You also have knowledge of financial consolidation systems, preferably BPC. As we operate in a global setting, good ability to express yourself in clear manner in English, in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite.

As a person, you are analytical, diplomatic and curious, with good ability to establish and maintain contacts. You also have strong interpersonal skills, are perceptive and can easily create trusting cooperation in a natural manner. Flexibility in scope and time regarding workload and tasks is important.
