The company’s way of working is becoming more and more dependent on digitalization, and they have decided to strengthen the IT organization with a Global Information Security Manager that takes a strategic view on policies and procedures. The role as Global Information Security Manager also means handling key operational issues. Other tasks includes responsibility for setting policies, procedures, conducting audits with his/her team, but also for having a very close dialogue with the management team to ensure risk compliance within the field of IT security.

Key Responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Design and implement appropriate security, access management architecture and information security strategy both internally and for the company’s products in close cooperation with the IT Architect and architects from the Business Area teams.

  • Develop, document and maintain Information Security and Access Management Policies and Procedures

  • Conduct risk assessments on information security, IT infrastructure, applications and systems

  • Advise business stakeholders and the IT Management Team on IT Risk & Security related matters.

  • Plan and execute regular information security awareness trainings and information

  • Work together with peers on the group wide Information and IT Risk & Security strategy

  • Manage activities and projects in the IT Security area

  • Cooperate with related governance functions such as Facility Management, Risk Manager, HR and Legal on security related matters

  • Manage activities related to business continuity management and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with relevant functions and third parties

Your qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science or similar

  • At least 5 years’ experience in information and IT security area

  • Knowledge in current security standards and best practices

  • Experience in project management

  • Power of initiative and a high level of self-motivation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse people across different functions/cultures

  • Strategic & logical thinking with great analytical skills

  • Fluent English.
