Position
We are looking for an Technical Sales Manager with a technical  background for the Swedish/Norwegian market. The position is an independent role who will report to the Sales Director for Grolman Nordic and will be a part of a Nordic Sales team of experienced technical sales managers. The role as Technical Sales Manager involves selling technical knowhow and expertise with a focus on close relationships with the customers. We believe you live in the south of Sweden (Malmö-, Gothenburg- or Stockholm area) and you will be working from a home based office.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Personal contact with different levels and decision makers at existing and new customers in Sweden and Norway, such as: product development, production and purchasing.

  • Introduction of specialty chemicals to new and existing customers based on technical knowhow and formulation expertise..

  • Administration: reporting in the CRM system, general administration, contact with suppliers and colleagues on Nordic and European level, participating in trainings, business review meetings with principals and sales meetings for the Nordic region. 

  • Take part in technical trainings to increase knowhow and understanding of product portfolio.

You have some years of experience in the field of commercial technical sales preferably selling specialty chemicals towards the industry. You have a technical education combined with a solid understanding and knowhow of chemistry and/or manufacturing processes. You are able to understand the value chain and the needs of different customers and combined with the offered services. You are used to long sales processes and project-selling. You are result-oriented and business focused networker who are able to build long term relationships with costumers.

You enjoy working in an international environment and you  have a very good knowledge of the English language. Excellent Swedish/Norwegian language skills are essential as well as having good understanding of the other Scandinavian languages. While you are used to taking initiatives and working in an independent and self-motivated manner, you also enjoy working in a team across separate locations with a goal of jointly developing a company with growth potential in the Nordics.
