Finance Manager Scandinavia - Paulig Group
Paulig Group is now looking for a Finance Manager for the Scandinavian Finance team with the responsibility of carrying out the key finance processes in the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish entities within Paulig Group. As Finance Manager Scandinavia you will report to the Director Finance Controlling in Paulig Group. This role is located in Mölndal.
As Finance Manager you are responsible for delivering core finance services at the highest standard to the different stakeholders in the region. This includes ownership of financial master data in the key business processes and ERPs. You will also play an active role in securing the transactional quality to our common BI tool. You will have tasks within accounting and reporting and an overall responsibility for the financial activities in Scandinavia. You will come to an organization that is responsive to new initiatives and improvements to established ways of working and procedures.
Your working tasks include:
• managing a team of 9 employees (financial controllers and accountants)
• steer and guide the annual and monthly calendar of accounting activities in ERPs and consolidation systems
• owning the finance activities in the key processes; closing the books, purchase to payment and order to cash
• managing relations with local authorities, external auditors, banks and other stakeholders
• driving the finance agenda in cross-functional or cross-regional projects
We are looking for a Finance Manager with qualified experience from accounting, preferably Big4 experience. You also have experience from leading high performing teams - sometimes located remotely. You have an academic degree in Business Administration and have been working in a leading accounting role for 3 to 5 years. You have a solid system experience and it is meritorious if you have been involved in a system implementation. You are fluent in Swedish and English, in spoken and written terms.
To succeed in this role, you need to steer the finance agenda and make it visible for a broad audience with own agendas - therefore you need to be structured and persistent in your work. You will also need to bring transparency and clarity to the team so that everyone can contribute to the agenda. Furthermore, we are looking for a person who likes to challenge and take own initiatives. You can work independently and you are also driven to make sure that projects are completed.
