Husqvarna Group is now searching for a Program and Development Director - Group Sourcing - with responsibility for lead, develop and implement group sourcing programs. A key role for Husqvarna Groups continued growth and development.

Husqvarna Group is comprised of four Business Divisions and several Group functions that support the Business Divisions. Group sourcing is one of the Group functions and exists within Group operations. Group sourcing is responsible for the functional leadership of the key sourcing activities, manage programs and secure synergies and scale or Husqvarna Group. The Program and Development Director report to Senior VP for Group Sourcing and will be based in Stockholm, Huskvarna, or Jonsered, Sweden.

The Program and Development Director is responsible for drive development and governing the group sourcing strategy jointly with the divisional sourcing organization 2020 & beyond. The existing sourcing programs have resulted into significant KPI improvements, but is expected to continue to develop in order to create more value for Husqvarna’s business divisions. To be successful, the Program and Development Director needs to work close with key suppliers to develop the sourcing programs and to secure high supplier engagement. Take responsibility and drive the Lead Buyer network within Husqvarna group at a divisional level to benefiting from group scale and technology capabilities, and build network with industry pears and associations to identify new trends and opportunities in sourcing.

For this position, we seek someone having a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or economics and at least 5 years of working experience in sourcing or related functions. It is an advantage if you have some experience in program management, sourcing development and/or sourcing strategy, in an international context. You must be prepared for some travel, both domestic and international (e.g., to Germany and the US), as Husqvarna is a global organization. Further, you must have a high proficiency in spoken and written English.

The successful candidate needs to be analytical, focused, structured and methodical. Have an excellent program management ability and be able to manage different projects/programs concurrently. An independent role that requires self-discipline but at the same time be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues. Important to have an Interpersonal ability, be a good team player and be prestigious with an interest in other people's knowledge. Further, the successful candidate need to be professional in their work and be respectful to colleagues and of other cultures.
