About Hi-Fi Klubben:
Hi-Fi Klubben was founded in 1980 by the current major shareholder Peter Lyngdorf. He had established the company “AudioNord” some years earlier – a company which imported loudspeakers and amplifiers in high quality. However, Peter Lyngdorf did not meet much knowledge or customer service from the then established dealers, who would typically rather sell products in a lower quality because they had a higher profit. This was the main reason why Peter Lyngdorf founded Hi-Fi Klubben; as an answer to the industry’s poor customer offering. The basic idea was to give customers high quality audio by cutting off the wholesale part in the chain and sell direct. The vision of better sound together with honest and enthusiastic advice remains the most important foundation in Hi-Fi Klubben today.
Today, Hi-Fi Klubben is run by an Executive Board and a professional Board of Directors. In 2017, the company had a corporate turnover around DKK 1.1 billion. Hi-Fi Klubben has its own stores as well as franchises. The company is present in the Scandinavian countries and Germany and the Netherlands with a total of 102 physical stores plus national web shops in each country. This makes Hi-fi Klubben Europe's largest specialist chain in quality hi-fi. Read more: www.hifiklubben.com
