We are now looking for a VP Portfolio Services & Original Parts to lead the global team at DeLaval. The Portfolio Services & Original Parts department supports the commitment of DeLaval to develop first class solutions and products for service and maintenance, to help the customers keeping profitable business operations.

You will be a driving force regarding digitalization of the service and aftermarket business where IoT and Big Data will bring new possibilities and challenges for the future. Packaging of services, the transition from preventive to predictive service and the implementation of new service tools are some of the areas that you will manage.

The Portfolio Services & Original Parts team consists of 24 persons located in Tumba, Sweden and Wroclaw, Poland plus 1 person in the United States and in Argentina each. The VP position is placed in Tumba.

You will report to the Executive Vice President of Business Area  Aftermarket, Services &  Barn Environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Portfolio Services & Original Parts team

  • Manage and develop the DeLaval group assortment of Original Parts for profitability. This includes assortment complexity, frequency charts and DeLaval Recommended Pricing.

  • Manage and develop the DeLaval group assortment of Services such as preventive maintenance, emergency service and advisory services. This also includes the maintenance of diagnostic servicemen tools (VPR-200)

  • Lead the innovation of IoT related asset data management services (InService™ Remote) in line with the Farm Infrastructure Architecture .

  • Lead the innovation for future diagnostic tools as part of the customer-facing platform.

  • Support the continued development of the ASQ tool (Aftermarket & Services Quotation) and the related InService™ All-Inclusive offering for Services & Original Parts.

  • Member of the Business Area Management team


  • Masters Degree in Engineering.

  • MBA or Business Management degree is an asset

  • At least 10 years experience of people management with top line P&L responsibility within an international company, preferable with experience from packaging of service and maintenance business.

  • Business acumen.

  • Computer savvy, IoT experience is an asset

  • Fluent in English
