Husqvarna Group and Group Accounting are currently searching for a Group Accounting Controller who will have the opportunity to work with group accounting and an highly competent team in Stockholm. The Group Accounting team is responsible for consolidating Husqvarna Group's financial reporting and ensuring, through analysis and control, that the reports submitted to Group Management and the Board of Directors are correct. Furthermore, you will support and advise the divisions and subsidiaries from an accounting perspective.
The Group Accounting team consists of three people and the Director of Group Accounting. As Group Accounting Controller you will report directly to the Director of Group Accounting. This position is based at Husqvarna Group headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
Main responsibilities for The Group Accounting Controller:
- Together with the team, assist with the consolidation of Husqvarna Group’s financial reporting.
- Support subsidiaries and Divisional CFOs, in reporting and accounting issues.
- Involvement in the preparation of the annual report and the interim reports.
- Opportunity to drive and lead finance and accounting projects within the Group.
- Participate in the improvement of the accounting operations, routines and processes.
For this position, we are looking for someone who has a Bachelor’s degree in economics/finance or similar postgraduate education and several years of experience in a similar position with knowledge in accounting. Experience working with IFRS accounting standards, is meritorious but not a requirement. Further, you must have a high proficiency in spoken and written English.
To be successful as a Group Accounting Controller you need to be analytical with the ability to both see the big picture of Husqvarna Group’s strategy and the finance department's responsibility, and at the same time be able to keep track of details to ensure quality. It is important that you are driven, have theability to work under pressure, and with challenging deadlines.
