Senior Business Development Manager to Aberdeen

To strengthen the team in the Nordics we are now recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager(SBDM) to be part of the Nordic Distribution team. The team works closely together with the Nordic team as well as other regional teams on a daily basis.

In the position as SBDM you will develop ASI’s institutional and distribution business in Sweden through cross selling to existing clients and by winning new clients. You will develop and implement business development strategies across all products and managing ASI’s overall relationship with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Furthermore you will ensure cross-functional consistency and cooperation across divisions and asset classes. You will be representing ASI’s business externally in conjunction with local functional representatives. Part of the role is also to provide relevant and accurate management reporting as required by the Head of Distribution and Head of Sweden.

You will report to Head of Distribution Sweden and be based in the Stockholm office. Some traveling will be required in this position.

  • Relevant previous experience from the asset management industry and knowledge across various asset classes is preferred
  • Extensive prior knowledge of the Swedish institutional market
  • Good knowledge of distribution channels in the Nordic region
  • An extensive network among institutions and/or wholesale
  • University degree or similar
  • Extensive knowledge of Swedish and English, written and spoken
