IPM is looking for a Junior Data/Business Analyst for its client team

About the position
Are you interested in improving work efficiency and systems? Do you have knowledge of financial markets and a strong mathematical background? Then this could be the position for you.

IPM is growing and is looking for a Junior Data/Business Analyst for a newly created position that will serve as a support function for the client team and the business development team. These groups are tasked with managing and developing the client base. We work to a large extent independently and you will directly report to the client team manager.

In your role, your main responsibilities will include:

Responsibility for all the data in the CRM system, Foliometrics, which means ensuring that it is updated, correct and accessible.

Being the internal system owner and the “expert” on all functionalities, as well as proactively working to expand and optimise usage.

Producing internal and external reports for clients, the team, management, and others. Both standardised and various ad hoc reports. This can involve creating and producing new formats based on a specific objective or the generation of specific data on request.

Structuring and analysing data in the system and proposing methods and suggestions for improvement.

Managing relationships internally and externally and being able to transform needs (data or functionality) into requirement specifications and communicating with all parties.

Participating in projects and taking significant responsibility to drive these forward.

Since this position is a newly established, the roles and responsibilities can be further developed.

Your background
We are looking for a civil engineer, systems scientist or university graduate in a relevant field with a strong academic record with at least two years of work experience. We believe that experience from a back office or middle office roll within fund management, a fund management company or a bank would be advantageous. Alternatively, you are working in a junior data/business analyst role and want to continue your development within the finance industry. You have a basic knowledge of financial markets and understand analysis and comparison measurement at a basic level. You are proficient in English in both speech and writing.

It is a merit if you are interested in systems and have experience within SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Dynamics, Fund Management and Project Management.

As a person, you have a strong attention to detail and are highly organised and efficient. You also have the ability to work with multiple tasks in parallel, are analytical and can tackle and solve problems. You are ambitious, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. Furthermore, we believe that you will thrive best with us if you like working in a team and enjoy interacting with different departments.

IPM will conduct background checks on final candidates in the recruitment process.

IPM is cooperating with SJR in this recruitment process. Since selection and interviews are reviewed on an on-going basis, we ask you to kindly apply as soon as possible. You apply for the position via www.sjr.se. All applications and contacts will be treated confidentially.
