Job description
Export & Trade Finance is a department within Financial Services, we manage Trade, Export and Project Finance needs and act as support and advisor to the Scania Group. Today the department consist of 7 persons covering the whole globe except Latin America.

We are looking at replacing one of the team members going into pension.

Key responsibilities and activities will be:

  • Support the market organisation in finding the best financial solution for the specific deal/project
  • Administration of payment instruments i.e. Letter of Credits, Guarantees, Bills of Exchange etc
  • Provide payment terms and advice on risk mitigation
  • To some extent Structured Finance i.e. Export and Project Finance
  • Make political and commercial risk assessments

Job requirements
We are looking for a person that has extensive experience in the field of Trade Finance. You shall also have an good understanding of Export and Project Finance. You need to be self-motivated and find it easy to work cross functional. You will be involved in specific projects and work with day to day tasks, therefore it is important to be flexible and find it easy to shift focus. As a large part of the daily communication will be in English it is important to feel comfortable both speaking and writing the language.

You will need to travel abroad on a regular basis. Your work will be cross functional within Scania as well as outside of Scania. Social skills and multi cultural understanding is important to better interact in the different work constellations. We see that you have the ability to support sales and at the same time act as a control function steering according to the Scania policy.
