Danske Bank is looking for a new leader to our HR Services department in Norway. Are you the one we are looking for?
Our HR Services department is providing service tasks concerning new hires, changes in regards to working conditions, and resignations. In addition, they create reports to leaders, Group HR and public administrations. Moreover, they are supporting leaders and colleagues around the Norwegian organization through guiding and advising within areas such as laws, regulations and support of our systems. We have a skilled and competent environment that communicates closely to the whole organization. The department is a part of a global team that assists with guidance and practical support in different tasks within legal and internal frames. Additionally, we also serve Danica Pension and Danske Capital Norway.
In the role, you will have the operational responsibility for the delivery of your department. You will be in charge of a team of seven talented employees, and will be an active member of a global leadership team, ensuring that your team and department changes in line with the bank’s expectations and needs. We expect the leader to have a broad understanding of legal aspect in a Norwegian context and manage to think of this in every action and decision-making. Being proactive, seeing opportunities and finding good solutions is crucial to succeed in this role. At the same time, putting the employees first is your most important task – it is HR Services mission to provide operational excellence to support them.
Our new manager has minimum a Bachelor’s degree within the fields of HR, law or similar areas, and is experienced from a similar role and field. You are familiar with the existing relevant laws and regulations in Norway and are seen by yourself and others as a person with good people skills in terms of developing both people and organization. As a person, you are willing to learn and have a focus on operational excellence and quality when facing new, exciting and challenging tasks within the bank. You are motivated by increasing the efficiency in processes, and this is an excellent opportunity for you to learn and develop yourself in addition to solving new tasks. It is important that you manage to have a global mind-set and good stakeholder management skills.
The position requires excellent communication skills in English and one of the Scandinavian languages, both written and oral.
