The increased demands on VMS robots (milking robots) will in the coming years place new demands on DeLaval Factory Tumba.
Development of both production and support processes needs to take another step in the development, to go from performing today to performing and constantly evolving. This is to ensure efficient and effective production. The goal is to create a competence center linked to the production of VMS and overall production, including process control and process development. Therefore, the organization is expanded with this role.
DPS, is an important function for the further development. Lean development and continuous improvement are areas that all are parts of the DPS Manager´s responsibility and have a direct impact on the development of the factory. The role is both mixed tactical / operational, but the focus is on the operational. DPS (DeLaval Production System) is structurally in place. Focus will be on implementation and follow up the DeLaval ways of working. The DPS Manager Tumba will have the responsibility to lead the development of DeLaval’s Production System within the Delaval Factory Tumba organization. There will be a mix of strategic / tactical analyzing and planning implementation and follow up on DeLaval’s global ways of working combined with hands-on operational leadership and sharing best practice. It’s important for DeLaval Factory Tumba to further develop and to increase the pace of the developing and to become the center of excellence.
Responsibilities and tasks
This position is located in Tumba (Sweden). You will report directly to Factory Manager, DeLaval Factory Tumba and a dotted line Global DPS Manager.
