About Group Finance
The Group Finance organization consists of a total of seven functions and 33 people; Office Management, Business Financial Planning, Internal Control, Treasury, Finance Holding, Internal Audit and Investor Relations & Communication.
Group Finance is responsible for the Group’s financial controlling and reporting. It also coordinates and collaborates with finance personnel housed within the divisions. Its main roles are to act as service provider to management and the divisions; be the trusted advisor and expert in the functional area of finance and; to ensure that the operations complies with established principles, manuals and regulations within the finance area.
Group Accounting, within Finance Holding, is responsible for consolidating Husqvarna Group's financial reporting as well as supporting the affiliates in accounting matters. The Group consists of approximately 90 affiliates in 40 countries. As Director Group Accounting, you will have an overall responsibility for the quality and delivery of the consolidation of Husqvarna Group's financial reporting. Your main role will be to lead, support, develop and distribute the work within the team of five Group Accountants.
An important part of the role will be to further develop the function and drive change in order to ensure both quality performance and to reduce vulnerability. This includes cooperating with divisional CFO’s, contact with subsidiaries, introducing job rotation, further develop processes and working with priorities.
Another focus area will be to further improve the financial control capabilities within the team. You will also participate in various types of projects related to finance, accounting and internal control. You report to VP Group Finance Holding but should expect and be comfortable with substantial and recurrent direct interaction with the Group’s CFO.
The position is based at the headquarters in the center of Stockholm, but some travel is required.
You have a degree in Finance and several years’ experience in a similar leading position. You have extensive knowledge in Group Accounting and IFRS. You are experienced in change management and have strong oral and written communication skills in order to consult to all levels of management. English proficiency is mandatory.
You are business-oriented with an ability take a holistic view. Great leadership-skills is a must and your ability to engage others comes naturally. You are good at prioritizing, non-prestigious, cooperative and last but not least we also value your sense of humor.
