Commercial Operations within purchasing, was created to accelerate the integration of purchasing activities within Scania´s worldwide sales and service organization. The department is continuously developing new ways of working and can offer a very challenging and entrepreneurial environment.
Scania Sverige AB is the distributor of Scania products and services in Sweden. The network consist of 4 captive dealers and 16 private dealers, which all together offers the customers 70 workshops and 2000 employees at their service.
Working as a strategic purchaser you will be responsible for the development and implementation of purchasing activities for our Commercial Operations network in Sweden together with our internal customers. The work includes responsibility for sourcing strategies, supplier selection and negotiations as well as supplier quality, service and cost development.
The procurement areas that we work with covers a wide span of needs ranging from facility management services, workshop equipment/supplies and marketing activities to superstructure and other interesting aspects of what a Business Unit requires.
Our team is an important part of Business Unit Sweden and Global Purchasing. Together we create value for the customers, staff and shareholders by managing procurement strategies with respect to a wide range of products and services.
We are looking for a team player, for whom its evident that joint efforts drive change. You are positive, service minded and a driven person with an interest in the retail business and at least three years of commercial experience. You probably have a degree from university or similar.

You are fluent in both written and oral Swedish and English. The work requires travelling to some extent.
