You will be acting as an in-house counsel and be an integral part of deal teams where you for example will draft and negotiate different sorts of finance documentation, provide legal advice in relation to various financing structures and handle closings of transactions.

We are subject to high demands in terms of quality performance and accessibility. Due to the substantial transaction flow across the countries, Danske Legal works closely together across the countries, so you will be able to network and collaborate with colleagues within Legal, especially in the other Nordic countries but also in the UK and the Baltics. Although the pace can sometimes be hectic, our working environment is based on supportive knowledge-sharing, sparring and an informal and friendly atmosphere.

To thrive in this role we believe you are a skilled lawyer (Attorney-at-law, LL.M. (Master of Laws/cand. jur.) with at least four years’ relevant professional experience as an attorney from either a top tier law firm or as an in-house counsel in a bank, where you have worked with finance  transactions and documentation, including investment grade, acquisition and leverage deals. We see it as an advantage if you also have some experience within other financing related matters, such as cash management, supply chain and trade finance. You work independently and in a structured manner and you are good at solving complex legal and commercial issues. You keep a cool head and retain focus in pressured situations.

You are customer oriented by nature and can easily communicate with non-lawyers. Your language skills both in Swedish and English are so good that you can conduct negotiations and draft documentation effortless in both languages.
