IPM is looking to hire an Associate to the Client Portfolio Management team
About the position
The Client Portfolio Management team is responsible for the relationship with IPM’s investors as well as with consultants and has as its mission to increase client retention and to support business development. There are currently 7 experienced people in the team and as the firm has grown substantially over the last couple of years, there is an opportunity for the right individual to join the team and help service a demanding and sophisticated client base.
The role involves
- Responsible for providing timely financial reporting, creating and distributing both standardized and customized client reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis. This also involves updating and managing the client database.
- Responding to ad hoc requests from investors, counterparts and other IPM departments and contributing to RFPs and marketing documents together with the rest of the team.
- Contributing to the IPM website design and content
We are looking for someone with a Master’s degree in economics; preferably with a major in finance (equivalent financial knowledge gained on the job would also qualify). Either you have recently completed your university degree or you have a few years experience from working with financial reporting within the insurance- or finance industry. You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point. You are interested in the financial sector and can communicate well in both spoken and written English.
As an individual you are analytical, well organized and structured. You are ambitious, goal oriented and good at working together with others. The position also requires accuracy and attention to deadlines.
