Tail Lift Solutions (TLS) is a global business line within Hiab, covering the whole value chain from R&D and production to global marketing and sales. Tail Lifts are sold under the three brands DEL, WALTCO and ZEPRO with lifting capacity between 750 kg to 4 tonnes, representing an annual turnover of approx. 200 mill. USD. The business line employs around 500 people with manufacturing and R&D sites in Europe and the US. The main role of the Director Business Control is to act as financial partner for the Business Managers at Tail Lifts globally and to provide financial business support as a challenger in the business decision making process. Furthermore, you will drive improvements in the finance organisation and related processes, e.g. ERP implementation processes, cost control and sales growth initiatives. In summary, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of a new financial operating model in a global context and a highly dynamic and exciting corporate environment. You will be a member of both Tail Lift and Hiab Finance Leadership Teams and report to Finance function (SVP Hiab Finance and Business Control). You will lead, coach and continuously develop the skills and capabilities of TL finance team. You will be based at the Hiab Headquarters in Malmö, at the Stockholm or at the Helsinki office.

Background and experience

  • Documented proven leader and specialist in high level business controlling role/financial reporting/financial processes and systems
  • Experience from a similar industry and a complex matrix international business environment
  • Experience in IFRS (especially revenue recognition), local GAAP and tax regulations
  • Comfortable user of ERP and finance tools, e.g. SAP, QlikView
  • Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
