Scania Financial Services is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in over 50 markets through 15 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. Over 850 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 145.000 vehicles representing around 77 billion SEK of assets financed and 82.000 insurance policies.

Today the central Business IT function within Scania Financial Services (SFS) consist of 10 people. The function is playing an essential role in most central projects, within the SFS digitalization program as well as the creation of SFS Global application portfolio.

As a Project Manager you will have a significant role with responsibility to lead the project team and the cooperation between external and internal suppliers. You will have lots of interactions with all functions within the Financial Services business, our business units, the Scania IT organisation and external suppliers.

Job description
You will have an active and operative role within the Financial Services projects with a focus on central projects. However the role also involves supporting local markets in terms of project management and governance.

The Project Manager will mainly be responsible for:

  • Plan, execute, monitor and follow up the project according to the project priorities.
  • Conduct stakeholder (process owners, project team, steering group, vendors) management during the whole project life cycle.
  • Develop and maintaining relations to common software suppliers.

Your profile
We are looking for a structured and business oriented team member with the ambition to grow with us. Your skills and/or qualities includes:

  • Project management skills
  • Experience in system implementations
  • Experience in bridging the gap between the business need and system ability
  • Vendor Management skills
  • Leasing and financing business knowledge is a merit
  • Fluency in English is a must

You need to be self-driven and proactive in the contacts with local finance companies and suppliers. Good communication abilities, service oriented and a strong leadership are also important characteristics for this role. The job offers plenty of international contacts both with our finance companies as well as software suppliers. You are expected to travel from time to time. In this position you will be reporting to the Head of Business IT within the Scania Financial Services head office.
