The increased demands on VMS robots (milking robots) will in the coming years place new demands on DeLaval Factory Tumba.
Development of both production and support processes needs to take another step in the development, to go from performing today to performing and constantly evolving. This is to ensure efficient and effective production. The goal is to create a competence center linked to the production of VMS and overall production, including process control and process development. Therefore, the organization is expanded with this role.
As Quality Manager you will work in a high priority area within DeLaval Supply Chain organization. You will have direct impact in the organization and the development of the production processes at DeLaval Factory Tumba. You take the full responsibility for the Quality performance at site and steer and drive necessary needs to development projects in the organization linked to Quality related issues. Our new Quality Manager will mix strategic work with hands-on operational Quality Management at DeLaval Factory Tumba. It is important for us to further develop our ways of working with quality in a smart and structured way and at the same time increase the pace in our quality improvement.
You will be a member of the Management team at DeLaval Factory Tumba and reports to Factory Manager but you will also have “dotted lines” to Global Quality Managers Operation. As Quality Manager you lead and steer a team of 12 people.
To be successful in this role, you need to be energetic, flexible and have a results-oriented approach, a positive mindset, strong collaboration skills and passion for production and logistics. You are good at leading teams / individuals. You have a good ability to influence and coach at operational and management level but also empathetic and have good contact abilities.
Key Responsibilities and deliverables
This position is located in Tumba and reports to the Factory Manager. Factory language is Swedish, but written correspondence is frequently in English.
